I draw on my academic training in metalsmithing for centuries-old techniques of soldering, forming, and fabricating. At the same time, I use a photo-etching process to incorporate images onto the metal surface. Photo-etching is an industrial process that is the backbone of the micro circuitry industry.
These techniques enable me to create unique and individual works of art for anything from a corporate boardroom to a residential setting. My primary art works include sculptural wall forms, boxes, and pedestal pieces.
Using photographs, documents, corporate logos, or other abstract images, I create artwork that can highlight individual people, places, or things, or the products, history, and mission of a company, in a creative sculptural form. These images are etched into bronze, and can be combined with stainless steel, copper, or other metals to create an iconic work of art that will last for generations to come.
